How do we use your personal data?
Below we explain why we process your personal data, the legal basis for doing so, and how long we retain your data for each purpose.
Performance of a contract
When you make a purchase through the Arli Group B.V. website, we require certain personal data to perform our agreement with you. We also use this information to process payments, handle returns, and provide warranty services.
Personal data included in our (financial) administration is retained for up to 7 years after the end of the relevant financial year, in accordance with our statutory tax retention obligations.
Reviews
We appreciate your participation in our customer satisfaction surveys. After making a purchase, you may receive an email from our review partner inviting you to rate your purchasing experience. We may also ask you to review the product you purchased. We send these invitations based on our legitimate interest in improving our services and measuring customer satisfaction.
Reviews are published on our website because you submitted them through one of our review partners and gave that partner permission to display them on our website. We retain these reviews until they are no longer relevant or until you request anonymisation through the review partner.

If you contact us with a question, return request, or complaint, we process your personal data in order to respond to your request. We are permitted to do so because you have requested our assistance.
We retain this information for up to 5 years after your last purchase or your most recent contact with us. Personal data included in our financial records is retained for 7 years after the end of the financial year, where this statutory retention period exceeds the aforementioned period.
