Als je kaars eenmaal is aangestoken, blaas hem dan pas uit totdat de bovenste waslaag helemaal is gesmolten, dit zorgt voor een gelijkmatige verbranding en voor de ultieme geurbeleving. Steek dus alleen de Ted Sparks kaars aan als je alle tijd hebt om er echt van te genieten. Knip de lont iedere keer tot 6 mm boven de was voor ieder gebruik, hiermee vermijd je zwarte rook en resten op het glas.
